HTML ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਸਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਰਤੀਬਵਾਰ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਿਸਟਾਂ ਬਣਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ:

(Terms)

Unordered List (<ul>): ਇਸਨੂੰ ਬੁਲੇਟਿਡ ਲਿਸਟ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕ੍ਰਮ (Order) ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ।
Ordered List (<ol>): ਇਸਨੂੰ ਨੰਬਰ ਲਿਸਟ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ 1, 2, 3 ਜਾਂ A, B, C ਵਰਗੀ ਤਰਤੀਬ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
Definition List (<dl>): ਇਹ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਰਿਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਲਿਖਣ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

Unordered List (<ul>): Also known as Bulleted List. Order implies no importance.
Ordered List (<ol>): Also known as Numbered List (1, 2, 3 etc.). Order matters here.
Definition List (<dl>): Used for terms and their definitions (like a dictionary).

ਟੇਬਲ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਡਾਟਾ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਅ (Rows) ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਮ (Columns) ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

Tables are used to arrange data into rows and columns.

ਮੁੱਖ ਟੈਗ (Key Tags):

<table>: ਟੇਬਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ।
<tr>: ਟੇਬਲ ਰੋਅ (Table Row) ਲਈ।
<th>: ਟੇਬਲ ਹੈਡਿੰਗ (Heading) ਲਈ।
<td>: ਟੇਬਲ ਡਾਟਾ (Cell Data) ਲਈ।

ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਐਟ੍ਰੀਬਿਊਟ (Attributes):

Cellpadding: ਸੈੱਲ ਦੇ ਬਾਰਡਰ ਅਤੇ ਟੈਕਸਟ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਦੂਰੀ।
Cellspacing: ਦੋ ਸੈੱਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਦੂਰੀ।
Colspan: ਕਾਲਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜਨ (Merge) ਲਈ।
Rowspan: ਰੋਅ (Rows) ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜਨ ਲਈ।

Key Tags:

<table>: Defines the table.
<tr>: Defines a Table Row.
<th>: Defines a Table Header.
<td>: Defines Table Data (cell).

Important Attributes:

Cellpadding: Space between cell border and content.
Cellspacing: Space between two cells.
Colspan: To merge columns horizontally.
Rowspan: To merge rows vertically.
