Animals and Birds 🦁🐦
Animals and birds are living things just like us! They eat, play, and move around. In this activity, 1st-grade students will learn to identify the names of different animals and birds, and categorize them based on where they live.
How to Play
- 🦅 Level 1: Bird or Animal?
Look at the picture and the naming word. Decide if the living thing is a Bird with wings, or a land Animal. Tap the right button! - 🌳 Level 2: Where do I live?
Where does this living thing belong? Does it build a nest and sit on a Tree, or does it rush and roam in the Jungle? - 🧩 Level 3: Sort Them!
Time to sort! You will see an animal or bird at the bottom of the screen. Drag and drop it onto the big Tree or into the Jungle grass! - 🔄 Level 4: Match Animals!
Read the name of the animal or bird, and tap the correct picture from the options! - 💖 Level 5: Value Corner
Animals are living beings too! Answer a special question about how we should care for our animal friends.
For Parents & Teachers 🍎
This game reinforces categorical thinking and vocabulary building. The word bank is pulled directly from standard 1st-grade grammar workbooks (including sight words like crow, fox, owl, and tiger). It helps children associate characteristics (wings vs paws) with habitats (trees vs jungle).
